Her

By

So I was on quite a break. My phone wasn’t working well with the app and I didn’t have my laptop so I agreed to a holiday. I hope the new year is by far treating you right. Here’s to coming back!

She laughs at her –
the twin glaring from the other side of the world of mirrors.
She throws off wig,
Her messed kinky dancing
To the music of her thumb,
Pressing softly against scalp.
She laughs,
Chokes some,
Falls flat on strawed bed.
Her eyes glow –
Those fireflies.
Her lips make a twist
Like she does life.
If only they knew her,
The real her
With scars,
With fears,
With flaws,
With a past,
With no filled brows
With unnurtured hair
If only they knew her
She knows
They all know
They’ll flee
So they don’t.
