We spanned close to a decade. We,
We could have made history. We,
We were supposed to walk side by side,
Throw our sandals on the beach,
Dig toes into the warmth of sand,
Dance with cold swinging winds,
Spell love with our laughter
And leave longings in hearts.
Those hearts who will wait for the one;
Those hearts defined, now, by mine.
