I am Thelma Afua Awo Twumwa Acheampong, using Afua Awo Twumwa when I write. I write poetry and fiction. I also write non-fiction that shares my life, how I’m living it and my view of the world around me. I’ve been long interested in putting pieces I write out here. The dream of starting a blog/website has been in my heart for long.

After my first degree, I decided it’s time to test the waters. The biggest push I had was using my ability for the Lord and seeing other people’s blogs/websites containing so many stories. It made me think I can and here we are. This website is where you’ll find most of my work, my work features on other sites and every literary news with my name somewhere in it.

I am and so my work is hugely influenced by my faith in Christ and Ghanaianism.

You are very welcome and feel at home.

Above all things, I want to fall in love with words, with language, with the ability to wield it & the helplessness of not finding the words when I need them for certain feelings. I want to be in love with all this first. So my work is a sharing of this love, an overflow.
