So I’ve been doing some thinking today. Let me say my mind forced me to it. And I thought about God, my life, my values, my dreams…you know. In the process of doing the job of thinking, I came up with this poem. I found that the simplest yet most profound display of what is important to me is what and who I choose to obey. So I realised Jesus wasn’t kidding when He said obedience will be my and your and our proof of our love for Him.
So here we go. You can read this poem and as you do ponder the simple little truths buried behind the words just as they have been written. You may never know what you will come up with. Maybe we’d have another book from you on obedience to celebrate. And I know I have a good sense of humor. Laugh with me and enjoy reading this.
